CODA was formed in 1986 by its policyholders who elected ACE Bermuda as its manager. ACE Bermuda acquired CODA in 1993.
CODA offers a broad primary or excess/difference-in-conditions coverage to directors and officers for non-indemnifiable losses. The innovative CODA policy form is designed to give comprehensive financial protection to directors and officers when their company fails to indemnify them, or when traditional insurance programs fail to respond to their needs.
