ACE Bermuda International companies recently amalgamated ACE Bermuda International Insurance (Ireland) Limited (ABII) and ACE Bermuda International Reinsurance (Ireland) Limited (ABIR) into one insurance company, ACE Bermuda International Insurance (Ireland) Limited under an Irish High Court approved scheme of arrangement. As of the effective date of the amalgamation, 30 November 2011, ABIR was dissolved and all its assets and liabilities were absorbed into ABII (including all legal proceedings, contracts, and agreements). Any policyholder rights and any claims made under any contract will not be affected by the amalgamation.
