Patrick Tannock
Executive Vice President, Professional Lines, ACE Bermuda;
Chief Underwriting Officer and Director, CODA
Patrick Tannock serves as Executive Vice President with responsibility for the management of ACE Bermuda’s professional lines department. He joined ACE in 1993 as Assistant Vice President rising to Senior Vice President in 2000. He was appointed to his current position in April 2006. Mr. Tannock also serves as Chief Underwriting Officer and Director of ACE Bermuda's specialist directors and offices insurance subsidiary, Corporate Officers & Directors Assurance Ltd. (CODA).
Mr. Tannock has over 20 years' experience in the international insurance industry. Prior to joining ACE he worked for Marsh McLennan (Bermuda) Ltd, where he held the position of Vice President and Manager of the company's professional liability division.
Previously, Mr. Tannock served as a reinsurance broker with Risk Treatment Services and INA International, where he began his insurance career.
Education and Affiliations
Mr. Tannock holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a major in insurance and finance from the University of Hartford and a certificate of participation in the Executive Management Program from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.
He is a regular participant and speaker at professional and educational conferences and currently serves as co-chairman of the Bermuda PLUS Conference.
Mr. Tannock sits on the Directors Alert Board and the Bermuda Hospitals Board.
